Playmates toys has officially announced the release date for their Star Trek film toyline.
On Sunday April 19 fans everywhere will be able to get their hands on a plethora of action figures, ships, playsets, and accessories from J.J. Abrams' Trek relaunch.
Some of Playmates' key retailer partners include Toys R' Us, Target, Walmart, K-Mart, and Amazon.com.
For the first time in over a decade you'll be able to walk into one of these major stores and find an entire section devoted to Trek merchandise.
Toys R Us seems to be one of the most appealing spots to get your Trek merchandise at since you will also be able to find various exclusive items including 12 inch versions of Captain Pike and Sulu from the Playmates line as well as a few other items from the Original Series courtesy of DST and Art Asylum.
The major retailer has already launched its online Trek Store and most of the Playmates and Art Aylum items are already up for pre-order.
